Die Quantifizierung biochemischer und biophysikalischer Gewebeeigenschaften mittels medizinischer Bildgebung ist entscheidend für die Verbesserung von Diagnosen und Therapieentscheidungen. Die quantitative Bildgebung ist die zentrale Technologie innerhalb des SFB für alle Teilprojekte mit Bezug zur in-vivo Charakterisierung von Gewebematrix-Veränderungen aufgrund pathologischer Prozesse. C03 stellt allen SFB-Projekten aktuelle Bildgebungstechnologien für die Aufnahme quantitativer Gewebe-intrinsischer Kenngrößen zur Charakterisierung pathologisch-veränderter EZM zur Verfügung, d.h. Messdurchführung und Training neuer Verfahren, Test- und Referenzobjekte, Elastographie-Hardware, sowie standarisierte Messung, Rekonstruktion und Datenverarbeitung.
