Multiskalare Elastographie zur Charakterisierung pathologischer Veränderungen der Extrazellulärmatrix

Die MR-Elastographie (MRE) erlaubt die Quantifizierung der mechanischen Eigenschaften von Weichgeweben für die klinische Diagnostik. In A01 soll die multiskalare MRE zur Bestimmung des Schermodulus biologischer Gewebe vom Submillimeter-Bereich, über Mausmodelle bis in den klinischen Bereich ganzer Organe zur Charakterisierung biophysikalischer Veränderungen der Extrazellulärmatrix (EZM) entwickelt werden. Anhand generischer Phantome aus EZM-Komponenten sowie biologischer Proben soll mittels multiskalarer MRE und viskoelastischer Modellierung auf mikroskopische EZM-Veränderungen im Verlauf pathologischer Prozesse geschlossen und die Methodik zur biophysikalisch-fundierten EZM-gerichteten Bildgebung etabliert werden.
