About the project
The Collaborative Research Center 1340 "Matrix in Vision" has been funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) since July 2018. The 17 subprojects from the departments of biology, chemistry and medicine are distributed across several institutions. The spokesperson institution is Charité - Universitätsmedizin zu Berlin with Prof. Dr. Bernd Hamm as spokesperson. The participating institutions include the Humboldt-Universität Berlin, Berlin Institute of Health, Freie Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung, Technische Universität München, Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt and Max-Planck-Institut für Kolloid- und Grenzflächenforschung Potsdam.
